Flat gauze is fine for a paper cut. When a scrape is wider or weepier, we want something with body. These krinkle rolls are six layers of pure cotton, crimped so the texture holds tiny pockets of air. That structure soaks up fluid quickly and keeps the area drier, and it feels like a cushion rather than a sheet of cloth.

Each of the eight rolls goes through a sterilization process and is sealed in its own pouch until you open it. They are four inches wide, 3.2 yards long and latex-free. The crinkle stretches around toes, fingers or knees and does not stick when you lift it off. It also works as a soft layer beneath a compression wrap.
