Out in the field, a white bandage stands out like a flag. Camo blends in with the rest of your gear and hides dirt well after a long day. We chose the four-inch width here because outdoor bumps tend to land on calves, forearms and knees, where a broader wrap covers more in fewer turns. Nine rolls split nicely between a truck kit, a day pack and home.

The wrap bonds to itself rather than to skin, hair or fur, so it comes away without pulling and without residue. It is light, stretchy and breathable enough for warm weather. Tear it by hand, which matters when your knife is buried at the bottom of the bag. Use it over a dressing, as an ankle wrap, or on an animal's leg. Stretched out, one roll gives you five yards.
