From the drawer

If you have never used cohesive wrap, start small. This pack holds eight two-inch rolls in mixed colors, which is plenty to keep one in a backpack, one in the car and the rest at home. We like a bright roll for younger kids — a colored wrap on the wrist feels less like an injury and more like a badge. It clings to itself and stays off skin and hair.

Each roll stretches out to roughly five yards. You pull it to the length you want and tear it by hand, then press the end down and it holds. Swap it out as often as you like; it unwinds cleanly with no gummy film left behind. It is stretchy, light and breathable, which suits a taped ankle on the court or a dressing kept in place overnight.
