Some wounds need a dressing that can stay on for a while without fuss. These are the ones we keep for that: a soft silicone border that sticks to skin gently, a thick foam pad in the center, and a waterproof top layer. Thirty-six of them in separate waterproof packs suit home caregivers, older parents and anyone who changes dressings on a regular schedule.

Each 3.2 by 4 inch dressing has a 2 by 2.7 inch absorbent pad and five layers: PU film, absorbent core, non-woven layer, cushion pad and a hypoallergenic silicone contact layer. The 2 mm foam core absorbs up to fifteen times its weight in fluid, so changes can be less frequent. It is latex-free and lets oxygen and vapor pass through.
