A small, gaping cut is one of those moments when a regular adhesive bandage just is not enough. This kit gives you two tools for it: ten butterfly strips and six zip-style closure devices, all individually packed. We keep one in the second drawer and one in the hiking pack, because small cuts rarely happen next to a pharmacy.

The closures use hypoallergenic, breathable material with strong adhesion and high tensile strength, so they hold firmly. To use one, stick each side along the edge of the cut, then pull the two tabs to draw the edges together and adjust the position. They help keep the area closed and covered.
